Dr. Eduardo Esper is a cardiovascular thoracic surgeon that performs surgery on patients referred by cardiologists, primary care physicians, pulmonologists or self-referrals. Cardiovascular thoracic surgeons treat patients with lung and esophageal cancers as well as patients with congenital (from birth) and acquired diseases of the heart, lungs, esophagus, diaphragm and great vessels.
Dr. Esper performs many services including Endovascular repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, Coronary Artery Bypass, Carotid Endarterectomy, Thoracoscopy and Pacemaker Placement.
Dr. Esper has been practicing since 1997 and has been in practice here in Terre Haute since 2003. Dr. Esper was the first surgeon in the state of Indiana to perform a minimally invasive procedure to treat atrial fibrillation using radiofrequency ablation techniques.
